Civil Marriages celebrated in Italy are recognised overseas and they are conducted in accordance with Italian Law. Weddings celebrated in Italy are automatically registered world-wide.

It is not possible to remarry each other legally in Italy if you have already married in your country although a Blessing Ceremony can take place.

Civil Ceremonies by law must be performed in Town Halls, Villas and Venues officially approved by the Italian Government. Venues are mainly indoor venues which include grandeur historical buildings, ex-churches, and the town halls premises.
